What Can I Do

My true goal is to remove fear and frustration in dealing with medical issues with your pet. Having a pet that has been diagnosed with a chronic medical condition can be overwhelming.

I aim to be a support system and guide, so that I can help get you adjusted to the new changes with your pet’s care whatever the case at hand may be. I have had my own pets over the years with complicated illnesses, I was happy to be able to decrease stress for them by providing the medical care they needed within the comfort of my own home.

Medical care, needs, and or diagnostics must be ordered and verified by your veterinarian in order for me to move forward with care.

What Can't I Do

I am not a Veterinarian and I cannot diagnose problems or diseases, prescribe medications, administer vaccinations, or perform in-home euthanasia.

*Perform in home grooming and bathing services. This will be referred out to your local Erie groomers

*in home dental cleanings or manual tartar removal. Due to the nature of using very sharp dental instruments and not being able to clean properly under the gumline. Pets need to have this procedure performed in a vet clinic. Particular dental instrumentation requires hands to be placed at certain angles for proper hand scaling. The risk of injury to the gumline or other areas of the face could possibly happen if your pet moves suddenly.

*Provide immediate in- home emergency services. I can not diagnose, perform any diagnostics and treat animals on site for emergency care. A full staff and veterinarian is equipped specifically for any type of pet emergency.

My name is Patti and I’m an insured Pennsylvania Licensed Veterinary Technician

With over 30 years experience in the veterinary field. Veterinary nursing is my true calling and I am happy to be able to bring veterinary nursing care to your home, which alleviates stress for your pet. I can provide service for you and your pet by way of home visits, learning courses, and phone consults.

I have been providing nursing care for pets in the Erie area for the past 25 years at Erie Animal Hospital, became the lead certified veterinary technician in 1997, and was involved immensely within the areas of emergency work, medical nursing, surgery, and dentistry.
